Synthesizer V

Synthesizer V, from Dreamtonics, is a singing voice synthesizer. You write a melody in a piano-roll editor, type the lyrics under the notes and choose a voice database, and the software sings the part. Its AI voices can produce breathy, natural phrasing, and you can adjust pitch curves, timing, vibrato and tone by hand when you want more control.

Songwriters use it for guide vocals and demos, to try a harmony before asking a singer to learn it, or to write in a language or range that no one in the band sings. Voices are sold separately and each one has its own license terms, so read them before using a synthesized voice on a commercial release. It runs as a desktop program and as a plugin.
